Racing legend John Power has been moved to another emergency unit his vehicle burst into flares toward the finish of a race in Virginia last end of the week.
Following a 300mph accident in the Virginia Nationals at Virginia Motorsports Park on Sunday, Power was raced to clinic after his vehicle got on fire and he collided with a wall in unnerving scenes.
The 75-year-old timed in a 306.62mph win over Terry Haddock in the right path at before the driving force of his Pinnacle Chevy Camaro detonated during the rapid run.
After the startling occurrence, Power – a 157-time NHRA champ – left the vehicle and was ready while conversing with Security Safari laborers, before he was accompanied into a rescue vehicle and taken to a Richmond-region emergency clinic to get checked.
John Power Hustling said in an explanation Monday night that he was still in a Virginia emergency clinic and that specialists ‘were moving gradually in surveying the degree of the wounds in light of the force of the effect.’
