**Toulouse Appoints New Chief Financial Officer**

 

In a strategic move to bolster its financial management, the city of Toulouse has appointed Marie Dubois as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Dubois, a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of experience in public sector finance, will oversee the city’s financial strategy, budget planning, and fiscal policies.

 

Dubois, previously the Deputy CFO at Lyon, is renowned for her expertise in managing complex financial portfolios and implementing robust financial controls. Her appointment is expected to bring a fresh perspective to Toulouse’s financial operations, focusing on transparency, efficiency, and sustainability.

 

The announcement comes at a crucial time as Toulouse embarks on several major infrastructure projects and seeks to strengthen its financial position amidst evolving economic challenges. The city’s Mayor, Jean-Luc Moudenc, expressed confidence in Dubois’s ability to navigate these challenges and lead the finance department effectively.

Dubois holds a Master’s degree in Public Finance from Sciences Po Paris and is a certified public accountant. Her previous roles include significant achievements in financial restructuring and budget optimization, making her a strong asset for Toulouse.
