The International Tennis Federation (ITF) issued a heartfelt tribute: “Elena Ivanova was a remarkable athlete and an inspiring individual. Her legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she touched both on and off the court. Our deepest condolences go out to her family and friends.”

Fans, fellow players, and tennis officials have expressed their grief and paid their respects, with many taking to social media to share their memories of Ivanova’s impact on the sport.
