In recent motocross news, the 2024 AMA Motocross Awards ceremony highlighted exceptional achievements within the sport. The event, held on August 8th in Las Vegas, celebrated the top performers of the season with various accolades.

 

The prestigious “Rider of the Year” award went to Eli Tomac, who had an outstanding season in the 450 class. Tomac’s consistent performance and impressive wins across multiple rounds earned him this top honor. His success on the track has solidified his reputation as one of the premier riders in the sport, and this award further recognizes his dominance throughout the year.

In the 250 class, Jett Lawrence received the “Breakout Rider of the Year” award.
